Business Development Manager Southeast
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales and grow our product testing services within an assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business development in a B2B environment, particularly within the product testing, certification, or inspection industry. This role requires strong sales acumen, the ability to build and maintain client relationships, and a deep understanding of product testing solutions across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned region.
• Client Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their product testing needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform sales strategies and business initiatives.
• Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Proactively seek out and develop new leads through networking, industry events, and other channels. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track all activities within a CRM system.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations that address clients’ needs and demonstrate the value of our testing services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical experts, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management. Provide insights on market trends and areas for potential growth.
• Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (Preferred), or a related field.
• Experience: Sales or business development experience, preferably in the product testing, certification, or inspection industry. However, will train correct candidate.
• Skills:
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional Requirements: Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in product testing is a plus.
