The President of Kansas serves as a key member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team (C-Suite), providing strategic leadership, vision, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families. This role is responsible for policy development, program implementation and growth, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and overall organizational success.
The President of Kansas will oversee the planning and delivery of family services and programs, as well as the financial accountability and sustainability and employee management of designated systems and programs. . The President of Kanas will collaborate with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team members to develop and implement the organization’s strategic vision. Additionally, executive will lead and manage a team of program leaders to drive service excellence and organizational impact.
• Responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing leadership employees.
• Provides oversight, supervision, and leadership development for all direct reports.
• Develops and oversees short- and long-term strategic planning for all programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals. Programs and services include, but are not limited to, case management, foster care homes, prevention, and residential services.
• Collaborates with the CEO and Board of Directors to establish annual priorities and objectives for programs under their oversight.
• Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Monitors and assesses program performance using data-driven evaluation methods.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates new programs and initiatives to support the organization’s growth and expansion.
• Ensures program quality and integrity by developing and implementing program management structures. Adheres to specified state and federal metrics.
• Ensures compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
• Provides strategic leadership and oversight to ensure program effectiveness and compliance with defined outcomes.
• Advises the CEO and Chief Officers on critical trends, challenges, and developments within areas of responsibility.
• Participates in strategic planning processes with the Senior Leadership Team.
• Collaborates with internal departments to align activities with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. Oversees program design, implementation, and evaluation to ensure programs meet their goals and objectives.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with key partners, funders, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at external events and conferences.
• Builds partnerships with other organizations to further the reach and impact of the organization.
• Stays abreast of developments in the child/family welfare field and identify opportunities for organizational learning and growth.
• Reports critical incidents to oversight agencies according to policy.
• Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies, and procedures related accreditation.

• Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
• Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
• Ensures clients’ rights are protected.
• Acts as a strategic partner on the leadership team and works closely with the team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
• Coaches and develop teams to ensure they deliver against key business metrics.
• Develop strategic plans that outline the direction of future business growth.
• Set objectives, performance metrics and procedures that lead to achieving business goals.
• Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve overall efficiency of the organization and ensure excellent client services.
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the organization.
• Works autonomously while ensuring the CEO expectations are readily met and exceeded.
• Represents the organization with outside partners.
• Ensures compliance on a company, state, and federal level.
• Oversees staffing level management for programs.
• Provides mentoring. Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the objectives of the organization.
Requirements
• Prefer a master’s degree in social work or related field
•
Minimum 5+ years of experience in leadership roles in the nonprofit sector.
•
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in child/family welfare services, including case management, foster care homes, prevention, and residential services.

Must reside in the state of Kansas.
•
Must be 21 years of age.
•
Must pass a drug screen, and all organizational and contractual required background checks.
•
FBI Fingerprint check.
•
Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
•
Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
