The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room, prioritizing care based on severity of condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory tests and medical imaging as necessary. Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, documenting changes in the electronic health record. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care. Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred; ICU or outpatient experience is a plus. Proficiency in specimen collection processing and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Familiarity with medical office procedures and medical imaging protocols. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
