Client Communications Manager
The Client Communications Manager will support new BD and marketing programs while also contributing and managing existing marketing and business development programs. In addition, this role is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of marketing and business development activities and related firm support.
Essential Functions
Business Development & Marketing Support
• Assist Firm with implementing business development and marketing plans across various channels with local, regional, national, and international reach from each D&M location.
• Support the development and execution of various marketing efforts, including tasks related to hosted events, webinars, seminars, conferences, and sponsorships.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of conference attendance and speaking opportunities, including research, team selection, attendee coordination, logistics, materials preparation, and communications.
• Support the development of pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including drafting, formatting, packaging, proofreading, and submission.
• Assist in responding to larger scope requests for proposals, including scheduling meetings, capturing and reporting actions, and project managing the overall response.
• Catalogue and update frequently used proposal responses in order to streamline the creation of new proposal documents.
• Develop and maintain representative experience library for each practice group.
• Develop and manage Firm content calendar across various platforms.
• Oversee the evaluation, approval, and processing of attorney membership dues.
• Support project-specific market research and data collection/analysis.
• Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all practice areas and associated services, attorney and team experience and their areas of expertise, as well as clients served.
Digital Platform Management
• Manage Firm’s website, ensuring timely and accurate updates, and recommending design and content changes as needed.
• Maintain updated sales pipelines for each service area through CRM system.
• Manage all business development tracking and reporting.
• Assists with other firm projects as needed.
Education
• BS degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent 4+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
• Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs and exercise critical thinking
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals
• Strong computer skills and, specifically, experience and proficiency with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Display the ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities effectively
• Previous experience writing proposals and other professional materials
