Marketing Director
We are partnering with a well-established company in Upstate South Carolina seeking a Director of Marketing to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness. This role requires a action-oriented, strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B and B2C marketing leadership.
This is an on-site role in the Greenville, SC , with flexibility to work from other offices across the Upstate as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
• Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement cohesive marketing plans that align with business objectives, focusing on increasing brand awareness and market share across all divisions.
• Brand Management: Oversee all external brand-facing activities, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms. Manage relationships with external agencies and public relations firms to amplify our brand presence.
• Team Development and Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their professional goals.
• Market Analysis and Growth Opportunities: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Revenue-Driven Market Strategy: Optimize marketing investments to drive measurable revenue growth, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for maximum impact and return on investment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams to ensure marketing strategies support business objectives and drive revenue growth.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators for marketing activities, regularly analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns. Use insights to optimize strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
• Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the company’s evolving marketing and business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand growth and profitability.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging marketing trends.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.
• Experience managing external agencies and vendor relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
