RESPONSIBILITIES 
Project Planning and Order Processing 
Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement, services, and accounting) to ensure effective financial planning and order management of projects. 
Provide financial guidance and support for decision-making on major project order structure, resource allocation, and financial risk management. 
Identify potential financial risks or discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary. 
Resolve project accounting or system issues as they arise to keep the project on track. 
Ensure that the project sales order is formally closed, deliverables are handed over, and client requirements are met. 
Project Financial Control and Monitoring 
Coordinate with different Vertiv Business Units to ensure accurate financial forecasting and cost tracking. 
Monitor and track project spending against budgets to ensure that projects stay on proper financial track. 
Ensure that the financial aspects of orders (e.g., invoicing, payment terms, cost allocation) are properly managed and communicated to the finance team. 
Prepare and present regular financial reports to leadership and forecasts, providing insights on project status, budget deviations, and cost performance. 
Ensure that all orders and projects comply with regulatory and organizational policies, including safety, environmental, and contractual standards. 
Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to track project costs, billing, and financial performance. Including Oracle CPQ, Oracle EBS, Oracle Projects. 
Implementation, Configuration and Administration of management software, currently PROCORE and Smartsheet. 
Team Leadership and Development 
Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to team members. 
Manage and lead a team of Project Administrators. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that team members have the resources they need. 
Ensure collaboration among team members and departments. 
Provide training to staff on systems, processes, and best practices in project planning and order processing. 
Handle any interpersonal conflicts or performance issues within the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
Minimum Job Qualifications:   
Bachelor’s degree   
10-15 years of supporting large customer facing projects or similar experience   
Proven track-record in creating sound process innovation strategies and transformational KPI’s   
Preferred Qualifications:   
Strong analytical skills and impactful communicator   
Experience leading cross functional teams and motivating key stakeholders towards common goals   
Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage complexity, while driving for clarity in process and capabilities   
Ability to lead change and drive process adoption
