Job Title: Safety Coordinator - $70,000 - $80,000 Job Description Lead the efforts to create a safe workplace through implementing programs, monitoring activities, training personnel, investigating events, and reporting to management and governmental agencies. Manage, design, implement, and coordinate safety plans and design and implement health and environmental processes. Schedule annual testing for safety and health programs, recommend tools for tracking and managing EHS records, monitor safety programs and policies, conduct shop inspections and regular audits, conduct safety committee meetings, and perform exposure and hazard analysis. Analyze data to improve environmental, health, and safety programs, implement training programs to reduce accidents, injuries, and OSHA violations, conduct new hire safety orientations, ensure all new employees are trained in PPE and company safety policies, and conduct safety training and certification courses. Investigate and follow up on accidents and near misses, maintain thorough record-keeping of employee training and safety compliance, handle all OSHA inspections/responses and record-keeping, and serve as the primary contact for DES reporting, inspections, and responses.
