Description: What You Will Be Doing:
This position is for a subject-matter expert specializing in Aircraft Structure/LO maintenance and operations for the F-35 airframe. The position is located in Ørland, Norway, and is part of a dedicated maintenance team supporting the Norwegian customer in repairing and returning their aircraft to an airworthy condition.. Additional responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
- The primary goal of this position is to increase aircraft availability across all operations by supporting maintenance and operational requirements.
- Individual must be a self-starter with the ability to make timely decisions and be willing to work nose-to-tail maintenance concept of the F-35 aircraft.
- Enhancing aircraft availability across all operations by ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of F-35 aircraft.
- The role requires a self-starter with the capability of making timely decisions and understanding all aspects of the nose-to-tail maintenance concept of the F-35 aircraft.
- This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, playing a crucial role in supporting the operational readiness of the Norwegian F-35 fleet.
- This position will be part of the larger Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) infrastructure at an existing F-35 site.
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an clearance prior to start and maintain an secret clearance through out the duration.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years specializing in Structures and or LO Maintenance and operations
- Requires minimum of 4 years hands-on working experience in 5 or 7-skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, or CDI/CDQAR United States Marine Corps, or equivalent on Fighter Attack Aircraft.
- Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs.
Desired Skills:
- The ideal candidate for this position will possess two key areas of expertise. Firstly, they will have hands-on F-35 maintenance experience, specifically in a nose-to-tail capacity.
- This experience should include working knowledge of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and its various components, including the Anomaly Fault Resolution System, Customer Relationship Management, Joint Technical Data Navigation, Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA)/Maintenance Vehicle Interface (MVI) activities, Configuration Management, and forms documentation and supply chain management activities.
- The ideal candidate will also have experience working with foreign military customers, specifically in the context of 5th Gen maintenance and support. This experience should include familiarity with the unique requirements and protocols associated with supporting international partners, as well as the ability to navigate cultural and linguistic differences.
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of foreign military customer needs and preferences, and have a proven track record of providing excellent support and service to these customers.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
