The Lead Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests, team members, and property. They are also expected to handle issues such as altercations, theft, vandalism, fire, trespassing, and other illegal activities in a calm and collected manner.

Some Details Of What You Will Do
• Provide safety and security to our guests, team members, and property.
• Report and assist in medical emergency situations.
• Check IDs and verify all guests entering the gaming floor are 21 or older.
• Patrol the facility, and parking lot on a routine scheduled basis.
• Watch for and report all irregularities occurring during the shift.
• Prepare documentation concerning each incident and report to the appropriate personnel daily.
• Escort guests and team members to their vehicles, as requested, to ensure their safety.
• Escort all money transferred to and from the cage.
• Respond to emergency situations.
What You Need
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience in security or related field.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
It’s the icing on the cake if you have:
• Certification in: First Aid, CPR and/or AED.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and depth perception, and peripheral vision. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (50) pounds. When working in the office, the noise level is moderately quiet. When on the gaming floor, the noise level may be loud, and the employee will possibly be exposed to cigarette smoke on the gaming floor.
