Job Description:
Wired UP Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in construction site management and low voltage systems. In this role, you will not only manage but also perform hands-on labor as part of the installation crew. You will be responsible for directly installing low voltage wiring systems—such as security, networking, and audio-visual systems—while also managing the project on-site.
You will lead by example, actively participating in the installation and physical labor, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role is for someone who is comfortable taking on both managerial and hands-on responsibilities, overseeing the successful completion of projects while actively contributing to the work on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on labor as part of the installation team, working on low voltage systems like security, networking, and audio-visual setups.
• Lead and manage on-site activities, ensuring the team is on track, while you also perform the physical work.
• Supervise and assist in the installation of low voltage wiring and equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed to specification.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving on-site challenges.
• Manage project timelines and schedules, while working directly to meet project milestones through physical labor.
• Review project plans and blueprints to ensure correct execution of tasks and proper installation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain detailed records of labor hours, material usage, and project progress.
• Take responsibility for maintaining tools and equipment used on-site.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction project management, with direct hands-on experience in low voltage installations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Experience working with low voltage systems (security, networking, audio-visual).
• Ability to perform physical labor such as wiring installations, mounting equipment, and other construction tasks.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to take charge while working directly alongside the team.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while performing labor on the job site.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must have hands-on experience with low voltage installations and be prepared to do physical work as part of the crew.
Work Schedule:
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for more depending on workload.
• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Pay:
$30.00+ (depending on experience)
Expected Hours:
20 – 40 hours per week, based on project needs
