Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Precision Optics Optician, located on-site in Sarasota, FL. The Precision Optics Optician will be responsible for handling and inspecting optical components, assembling and aligning optical systems, performing quality control checks, and maintaining equipment. Daily tasks will include precise measurements, adjustments, and maintenance of high precision optics to ensure they meet the required specifications. The role will involve continuous collaboration with the production and engineering teams to enhance the efficiency and quality of production.
Qualifications
• Experience in handling, inspecting, and assembling optical components
• Skills in quality control checks and maintaining precision equipment
• Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in working with high-precision optics
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in the laser optics industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in optics or a related field is beneficial
