Nurse Practitioner
With over 35 years of service, AID Upstate is the only provider of comprehensive HIV care, prevention, and supportive services in our area, servicing Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties. We provide support for the whole person, including HIV specialty and primary care, medical case management, referrals/payment for medical care, health insurance premiums and copayment costs, and resources to meet everyday needs of those living with HIV such as our food pantry, transportation, pharmaceutical assistance, mental health initiatives, and much more.
Our medical clinic provides an integrated care model, allowing patients to receive both primary and HIV specialty care under one roof. With an on-site pharmacy and in-house lab facilities, we ensure accessible, high-quality healthcare for our community.
AID Upstate is currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role is an instrumental part of our organization, providing HIV and primary care services to our clients as they navigate their healthcare journeys.
Here is some of what you can expect in this role:
• Deliver high-quality HIV and primary care services in both our Greenville and Anderson offices.
• Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, and develop accurate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications, conduct screenings, and promote preventive healthcare initiatives.
• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse, mission-driven healthcare team.

What you will need:
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• Unencumbered South Carolina APRN license with prescriptive authority.
• Current DEA Registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of APRN experience in primary or HIV care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Epic EMR.
• Ability to travel between our Greenville and Anderson clinics.
