This is a position for summer. Perform manual duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
Proven skills to write effectively and reading ability to accurately perform inventory functions.
Physical Demands
• Lift and carry over 50 pounds, both assisted and unassisted.
• Work overhead holding tools weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Visual and spatial acuity to move large objects through narrow hallways in a safe manner.
• Safely operate a UGA state vehicle as necessary.
