We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights, support our growth initiatives, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities.
• Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and discrepancies are resolved.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in our accounting systems.
• Preparation and posting necessary journal entries to reflect accurate financial data.
• Preparation of month end reconciliations and analysis
• Preparation of internal reports for use by management.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and sales, to provide financial insights and support.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting.
• Understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage Intacct.

Working Relationships
Communication is required with personnel within the Accounting Department as well as other manufacturing departments. The Financial Analyst works under the immediate supervision of the Controller. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with upper management as well as hourly employees. This role will need to be team oriented and committed not only to perform the above tasks with excellence, but to exemplify and communicate the company’s mission, vision, and values as well.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the Financial Analyst is required to stand, walk, and perform motions for short periods of time and must be able to lift and/or move in excess of twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. It also requires reading and interpreting instructions as well as having the ability to identify and distinguish color.
Safety
This position expects to adhere to all safety rules to include the use of all require protective personal equipment (PPE). Specifically, eye and hearing protection must be worn at all times while in the production floor.
