Bartelt Packaging, a Pro Mach Company, is seeking a Project Manager to join its team. The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to new equipment, upgrades, and change-part projects to ensure that resources are available and project goals are accomplished on time and within budget.
As a Project Manager, you will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of new packaging equipment, upgrade and change part projects for Bartelt Packaging products to ensure that resources are available, and the goals of the project are accomplished on time and within budget
Does this work interest you?
• Review the project proposal to determine the schedule, cost estimates, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of machine projects.
• Prepares project budgets and may perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.
• Prepares the Project Scope whereby the goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, team member’s roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, and deliverables are identified, defined, and communicated effectively.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding the status of current project initiatives.
• Collect financial data and create financial reports in real-time for project management to give feedback to senior management for cost correction
• Ensure that change requests that significantly impact the project scope, cost, or delivery are brought forward and communicated to appropriate personnel.
• Access Pro Mach's enterprise resource planning system to get information about project details for the coordination of project activities.
• Own and update the master Project Management schedule utilizing information from internal and external sources as instructed by the supervisor
• Create and implement a plan for archiving related documentation from third-party vendors.
• Develop master spreadsheet/Database for contractor costs with Senior PM support.
• Create and implement a plan for managing Return Material Authorizations and follow-up; use standardized processes and reduce costs.
• Enter data and update in Quality- module related to project specifications that have not been met, create additional.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline; three years experience in project management or engineering at an OEM in capital equipment manufacturing, preferably in the packaging industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Great at multi-tasking and possess excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Windows & MS software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to train customer personnel on equipment.
