Job Description
Staffmark, partnering with a leader in professional services, is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant. In this role, you'll prepare financial reports, perform account reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, assist with tax returns, and support audits. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000/yr.
You will oversee and coordinate accounting functions, prepare and analyze financial reports, reconcile balance sheets and general ledger, manage financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensure compliance with GAAP, lead financial discussions with leadership, and enhance accounting systems while staying updated on regulatory changes.
Qualifications: 8-10 years of staff accounting experience.
