Behavioral Technician (RBT)
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a crucial role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs designed to enhance the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), you will provide direct, one-on-one therapy to clients in clinic settings, schools, and homes.
Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as prescribed by the supervising BCBA.
• Conduct behavior observation and data collection during therapy sessions.
• Assist clients in acquiring new skills and achieving behavioral goals.
• Provide feedback to the supervising BCBA to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Collaborate with caregivers and educational staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across environments.
Qualifications:
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
