PAY RANGE: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 + Commission

Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for estimating, bidding, and overseeing new ground-up landscape construction projects. This role ensures project success by coordinating closely with the production team, maintaining adherence to project scope, and serving as the primary liaison between the client and the production team.
Essential Duties
Project Estimation & Bidding
• Prepare estimates to support project planning, organization, and scheduling.
• Conduct pre-bid site visits to assess project requirements.
Project Management
• Lead project planning and implementation, ensuring all phases align with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and task requirements.
Coordination & Resource Management
• Work with the Branch Manager to coordinate project staff and subcontractors.
• Track productivity and costs, recommending improvements to optimize labor, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Reporting
• Present progress reports, detailing project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Update management on profitability, costs, and billing to meet financial objectives.
Change Management
• Implement and manage changes to address challenges and meet project goals.
Project Evaluation
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess results and drive continuous improvement.
Education, Knowledge And Experience
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree preferred, horticulture degree preferred; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
• 2-5 years of experience in landscape or construction project management.
• Knowledge of job costing and project estimating
Skills And Quailifactions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
• Knowledge of horticulture including plants, shrubs, and other plants as well as weeds, pests, insects, horticultural diseases, moss, and plant disorders
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills
• Microsoft Office Suite / PC proficiency
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Indoor and outdoor conditions
• Extended work hours during peak seasons
• Requires moderate physical activity performing activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; potential exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
