Suncoast Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center, located in Sarasota, Florida is expanding the Client Services Team to better serve our clients and patients!

Someone who has a strong work ethic, drive and good follow-through will be the perfect addition to our customer centered Client Services team.
Applicants must be able to work varied shift hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates ideally should have front desk experience in the veterinary field. They must also be able to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers, be exceptional at customer service, show empathy and compassion for our clients and patients, have excellent phone skills and be able to efficiently multitask. Proficiency with AVImark Veterinary Software is highly desired!

Required qualifications:
• A professional manner and appearance are essential
• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience working in customer service
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays if needed
Preferred qualifications:
• 1 year or more of experience working in veterinary customer service
• Associates Degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
• Veterinary practice software proficiency in AVImark
Schedule:
• Evenings, weekends, and nights
• Full-time
This position requires excellent customer services skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations. The Client Services Specialist greets clients, checks in their beloved pets, and makes an initial assessment of the immediacy of the situation. They must maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
The Client Services Specialist serves as point of contact between the medical staff and the client. They efficiently and accurately enter patient and client information, and process client deposits and payments. They maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby and patient exam rooms. Most importantly, they provide compassionate understanding and support to our clients.
