Seeking a Dynamic Regional Quality Assurance Manager (Restaurants)
The Regional Quality Assurance Manager (Restaurants) is responsible for developing and maintaining QA programs that meet FDA, corporate, and customer requirements. This role ensures the quality and safety of supplied goods while supporting the Corporate Safety Program. A strong understanding of HACCP, the FDA Food Code, and local regulatory requirements is essential, along with a background in food service, quality assurance, and food safety management systems.

Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities
• Develops and implements food safety and quality programs to support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
• Maintains and updates the Food Safety Plan, identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensures compliance with HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and supply chain preventive controls in accordance with USDA, FDA, FSIS, FSMA, and corporate standards.
• Oversees allergen preventive controls, ensuring accurate labeling and preventing cross-contact.
• Manages product recall programs and ensures full traceability of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensures labeling accuracy for allergens, ingredients, and nutritional information.
• Leads food safety audits conducted by regulatory and third-party agencies.
• Responds to customer safety and quality concerns.
• Supports the company’s safety initiatives, including injury prevention and compliance tracking.
Regional Quality Assurance Manager Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety within a manufacturing or food service setting.
• Experience in prepared food manufacturing is a plus.
• Expertise in HACCP program development and FSMA compliance.
• Certifications in HACCP, Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI), and GFSI auditing required.
• Strong knowledge of third-party audit and GFSI program requirements.
• Experience in food processing and distribution regulations (FDA, USDA/FSIS).
• Proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Background in food safety/QA within areas such as meat, poultry, seafood, processed foods, or distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong communication, coaching, data management, and technical writing skills.
