BJA Elementary Paraprofessional
POSITION SUMMARY: The elementary Paraprofessional will provide support by assessing students on-on-one, creating supplemental materials, and communicating student information to parents and teachers.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
• Collaborate and problem solve
• Communicate effectively (written and spoken work)
• Create and organize materials for differentiated instruction
• Key Results area #1, Provide academic support to teachers and students
• Observe and assess students when gaps are recognized
• Provide additional instruction to support curriculum
• Record and communicate detailed observations for administration, teachers, and parents
• Create and organize a library of supplemental materials to support curriculum content
• Facilitate make up of graded work
• Key Results area #2, Provide building support
• Fulfill assigned duties including recess, lunch and carline
• Sub for teachers when needs arise during the school day
• Communicate the religious beliefs of BJA to students and student affiliates
• Answers questions concerning faith, doctrine, and creed of BJA to constituents, students, or those inquiring about BJA

• Attend school-wide professional development days
• Attend conferences in academic field
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities
