JOB SUMMARY The QA Field Consultant is responsible for performing verifications and inspections for residential homes and their applicable equipment and systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Working with our central scheduling team to complete home inspections as determined by the projects scope of work. Collecting data and photo documentation on assigned projects to document identifiable risk and good quality construction practices per the company work instructions, tagging all anomalies as open items in writing. Attending continuing education training sessions, including voluntary, mandatory, and those required to maintain certifications. Assuring the correct amount of project contact time and conducting the field related deliverables per the contracted scope or work and company work instructions. Assisting with customer complaint resolution and documentation per company work instructions. Communicating project status, updates, and changes to our central scheduling team. Notifying supervisor and company office of all necessary travel required with a minimum of 17 days advance notice. Synchronizing all data and photos collected daily and uploading any required written or auto generated reports and photos for applicable field deliverables within 24 hours of completion. Adhering to company policies, processes and work instructions to meet all ISO compliance requirements Submitting timely and accurate mileage, job costing and other financial reporting Maintaining and protecting all company equipment and supplies Monitoring, reviewing, and responding to all communication (email, phone, voicemail) in a timely manner as required by company policy Other duties as assigned by (supervising manager, upper management, executives KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles. Lifting: Frequently/up to 50 pounds Carrying: Same as lifting Pushing\pulling: Limited on specific job sight to examine structure Stooping: Frequently Crouching: Frequently Kneeling: Frequently Crawling: Frequently Sitting: Frequently Standing: Frequently Walking: Frequently Walking in open-sided multi-level buildings: Frequently Bending: Frequently Climbing interior stairs: Frequently Climbing scaffolding: Frequently Climbing onto roofs: Frequently Balancing: Frequently Reaching: Frequently Handling Objects: Frequently Visual Activity: Must be exact with glasses/lens correction Hearing: Acute Driving: Frequently Qualifications & Requirements ICC B1 Residential certificate *Candidates not currently holding an ICC B1 Residential certificate Inspector Certification will be required to obtain certification within 6 months from date of hire B2 Commercial certificate, or B5 Residential Inspector Certificate High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years construction experience Previous experience as Home Inspector, Superintendent, or Assistant Construction manager is preferred Reliable transportation, as this position requires daily travel to and from our clients job sites A valid drivers license, clean driving record for minimum of 5 years and adequate auto insurance that meets company compliance ($100,000 bodily injury/$300,000 accident /$100,000 property damage) Strong computer and customer service (verbal and written) skills are a must OSHA 10 certification Standard Work Hours Normal business hours in the field (7:00am to 4:00pm or equivalent). Overtime may be required from time to time by your supervisor, an executive, or at your request in order to accomplish work objectives.
