Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a candidate that can manage billing collection for Medicare account receivables, aiming to minimize outstanding accounts and maximize cash flow. This candidate will be responsible for working about 100 accounts per day. Additionally, this person will review, process, and correct electronic claims using AccessANYware, SSI, and DDE software systems to ensure timely reimbursement. Resolves RTP and denied claims, and maintains the electronic Medicare billing system. Coordinates and updates CM and DDE billing updates, billing tables, and system edits to optimize electronic capabilities. Runs job streams, generates, and evaluates electronic Medicare billing reports. Educates and trains staff on electronic claims submissions. Stays informed on changes to Medicare billing regulations and compliance issues. Responds to incoming calls and assists walk-in patients. Must Haves: High School Diploma/GED 2 years of Medicare billing and collections experience 1+ year of hospital billing experience Knowledge of a UB 04 form Plusses: Experience with denials and appeals Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT codes Experience using SSI billing system Previously used Allscripts or AM/PFM Compensation: $20.00/hr to $30.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
