Customer Service - Fruit Arrangement Production The Fruit Expert®- Customer Service Associate ensures Edible®service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt service, delivering a WOW experience Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Demonstrates a strong understanding of product knowledge and quality standards Cut fruit. Dip fruit. Make arrangements and boxes as needed Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service Discovers customer needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals Assists customers in the selection and purchase of Edible®products Uses effective sales approaches and displays strong knowledge of product line Effectively converts customer inquiries into sales Builds long-term relationships and builds the trust and loyalty of customers Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner Maintains a clean kitchen and store. Includes restaurant style cleaning. Manages difficult customer situations in a calm and professional manner Maintains Quality Store Operations Prepares a variety of Edible® fruit arrangements and treats according to our brand standards Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards and works as a store team player Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication with all customers and co-workers Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products Financial Contribution Follows cash handling and register policies Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the position Learns and demonstrates creating the Edible® Experience Learns and performs duties of customer Service, production, and/or delivery driver as needed Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing in-store training and utilizing digital training portal on an ongoing basis Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working in customer Service or food service establishment required Excellent customer service and communication skills required Demonstrated ability to sell and up-sell products required Good math and money handling skills required Positive attitude required Enjoys working within a team Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Drive and determination Desire for personal and professional growth Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record (if also delivering) Computer skills including Microsoft software and register skills Ability to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
