Description: What Will You Do? The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing parts related support to our golf, sports fields and grounds, municipal, consumer, landscape contractor customers and services’ support to our irrigation product customers. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for: Take parts orders and questions; and understand when and where to direct irrigation whole good and parts questions accordingly. Assist counter customer walk-in type transactions. Facilitator for submitting UPS/Fed-Ex -customer claims as they occur/RGA and responsible for the reconciliation for payment processing monthly. Assure customer service expectations and promote a standard of high excellence all while assisting customers with finding the correct part number for equipment via the internet or hard copy. Key customer’s parts order while live on the phone. Part numbers, quantities, address must be accurate, and CSR’s must assure that the customer number is correct. Key parts orders via faxes, email, web or walk ups. Research and issue Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) as needed. Reconcile monthly back-order month-end reports, review internal and external ETAs on outstanding part-shipments. Know how to open and end the conversation to make sure the phone call does not become too lengthy, causing other customers to wait in a queue. Remain consistent with quantity of in-bound ACD calls; CS-team. Have full knowledge of the computer system’s functions for looking up capabilities and request system generated forms and reports. Communicate/acknowledge by responding in a timely manner; to email communication. Take parts and irrigation whole good, related phone calls with a sense of customer satisfaction. Make pro-active outbound sales promotional calls. Responsible for end-of-day coffee-station cleaning and area. What Can We Give You? Requirements: What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements: Must be detail oriented and very accurate. Bi-lingual of both English and Spanish is a plus. Good communication and negotiation skills are essential. Good organizational and planning skills are required. Must be good with systems, and spreadsheets to maintain accurate records. Be able to quickly learn new functions and procedures. Requires the ability to interact with our customers in a professional manner daily. Must possess intermediate computer skills, general knowledge of turf and lawn maintenance equipment and good customer relation skills are important. You must possess superior customer service skills. Must be computer literate, able to type and respond with reasonable speed and accuracy. Should have some background in turf equipment, irrigation/technical and or lawn care equipment, with ample technical experience. Be able to communicate with customers to obtain information needed to look up correct parts for their equipment.
