As an Equipment Operator/lead man, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to support construction and projects. Candidate needs to be experienced in operating excavators . You will be responsible for reading plans, communicating with project supervisors, keeping detailed paperwork, managing small crew and seeing that the projects are completed in a professional, correct and timely fashion from start to finish. This is a full-time position. Duties: - Experience reading blueprints and spin laser. - Operate heavy equipment, particularly excavators - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment - Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations - Assist with site preparation and cleanup - Collaborate with team members and project supervisors to complete projects efficiently - Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues - Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner - Maintain accurate records of work performed -Manage small crew of 1-3 guys Experience: - Previous experience operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators. -Experience maintaining records and managing small crew -Experience working as a laborer on a site work construction crew Requirements: - Valid driver's license with reliable transportation - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Room for advancement - Paid time off If you have the skills and experience necessary to excel in this role, we invite you to apply for the position of Equipment Operator/Lead Guy.
