You will collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and field crews to ensure accuracy in ALTA surveys, plats, construction layouts, staking diagrams, and other survey deliverables while maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey drafting and enjoys translating field data into actionable plans that drive construction and land development projects. Review and verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Maintain and update survey records, drawings, and files in an organized manner. Ensure compliance with company standards and local, state, and federal regulations. Assist in developing and maintaining CAD standards and procedures. Provide support for field survey crews as needed, including data collection and processing. Troubleshoot and resolve any CAD-related issues throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, surveying, civil engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in survey drafting and CAD. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (Civil 3D experience preferred). Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret survey notes, maps, and construction plans. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
