Must have practical knowledge of materials used in the installation, maintenance and alteration of new construction plumbing systems including venting, water distribution, plumbing fixtures and traps. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Direct and support team of plumbers on new construction jobs in a professional and positive manner. Regularly create and communicate status reports for team and job site progress. Hold team members accountable to company performance and quality standards. Train and support all company safety directives. Rough-in; reading blueprints and specification sheets. Knowledge of current Florida plumbing code. Copper, PVC, CPVC and cast-iron installations. Sanitary systems and venting. Ability to perform tub sets (cast iron and steel), and second rough-ins. Shower pan installations. Proper heights, strapping and support of stub-outs. Proper sealing of all openings (rodent proof). Problem solving/troubleshooting. Testing procedures of completed work (ensuring work passes inspections). Thorough clean-up of job site. Any reasonable task assigned by supervisor or management. Demo and patching concrete floors. Accurate use of a tape measure. Good knowledge of basic math, including fractions. Job Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in New Construction Plumbing Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent Possess own tools necessary to perform required jobs/tasks. Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a drug screening and background check. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements: Must be able to frequently lift/carry fifty (50) lbs. in a ten hour day, and occasionally lift up to one-hundred (100) lbs. Stand or kneel eight to ten hours per day. Must be able to bend at waist, reach above shoulder, climb or squat continuously eight to ten hours per day. Use upper extremities for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulations. Work outdoors in extreme conditions (e.g. heat and cold). Must be able to work in tight or confined spaces (within reason).
