Summary of Position: Prioritize and perform multiple activities involved in preventative, scheduled, and/or emergency maintenance of all Club physical property. Activities may include, but are not limited to, cleaning, repairs of building and equipment, mechanical systems and HVAC repair and maintenance, painting, and groundskeeping. Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and perform maintenance and repairs on areas of the Club that require it. Paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings. Perform grounds maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows. Assist other departments as directed, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Convey company policies to staff and workers and enforce safety regulations. Maintain all pool-related items. Perform all other physical tasks as assigned by the Facilities Director and the General Manager. Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age. Be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Have experience in facilities maintenance. Have a working knowledge of basic buildings and grounds maintenance and care. Have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and how to perform basic repairs. Understand pool preventative maintenance and care. Be able to work outside for up to 8 hours per day. Be able to reach, bend, stoop, twist, pull, push, crawl, climb, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must have the stamina to work 40 hours per week.
