Distribution Center Vehicle Technician
 What Will You Do?
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical drives, sensors, and power industrial fleet as well as all equipment and systems within the distribution center. This role ensures that the facility operates efficiently and safely, supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the warehouse.
Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all distribution center machinery and equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Use schematics to troubleshoot, test and repair electrical and mechanical systems on powered fleet assets in the distribution center.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motors and controllers
• Troubleshoot and repair of motors, switches, relays, solenoids, etc.
Spare Parts and Inventory Management:
• Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance and repair work.
• Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and part replacements.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and complete maintenance work orders.
• Contribute ideas for improvements in all areas using the appropriate means of communication.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with operations and production teams to understand and address maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with external service providers and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.
• Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.

What Do You Need?
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Associate’s degree or Certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or related, highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical related maintenance roles within a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
