Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Bookkeeper located in Sarasota, FL. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and processing journal entries. Day-to-day tasks include recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and utilizing accounting software to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This would likely evolve to a full-time position.
Qualifications
• Experience with creating and managing Financial Statements and Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping and using Accounting Software
• Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
