Job Summary
This leader plans, develops and directs the activities of the Urgent Care Centers program within the Ambulatory Services division. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior while ensuring department and division projects and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
• Require a bachelor’s degree with preference for a master’s in health or business administration, or five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a tertiary hospital or health system. Experience in preventative or health related retail sales is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer strong leadership skills to manage diverse staffs and to create a united, interdepartmental team focused on customer service and quality excellence.
• Prefer strong background in business development and building clinical volume.
• Prefer start-up program development and large-scale project management experience.
• Prefer knowledge of the principles and practices of health care planning and management sufficient to manage, direct and coordinate the operation of a center of excellence and ambulatory site.
• Prefer demonstrated skill in analyzing situations quickly and accurately and taking effective action as necessary.
