The ITT Operations Manager reports to the Director of the Airport Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) at the San Francisco International Airport. This position manages and directs the entire ITT xxxxxgroup activities Airport-wide.
The essential functions of the job include: managing a Help Desk that receives an average of over 1,200 calls a month and is staffed on a 18 hour, 7 day a week basis; managing a client services group that supports Commission desktop workstations and laptops; managing the ongoing requirements of Airport tenants in the International Terminal Complex; having ownership of the Remedy activity tracking and asset management applications and any modification to support Airport sections and tenants needs for reporting and accounting tasks; managing the Projects and Planning group that owns large Commission and Tenant project management and requirements; supervising ITT personnel when they are performing duties and responsibilities related to the planning, design and implementation of IT projects, routine desktop responses, airline operational systems (Multi-User System Environment, aka MUSE); supervising Help Desk personnel to the ITT service level agreement (SLA) to ensure excellent service to Commission and tenants; making decisions using a high degree of independent judgment and discretion; evaluating all new technological roll outs and then developing innovative ways to utilize these technologies; developing policies, procedures, rules and regulations to establish effective relationships across divisional lines and ensuring that new policies and procedures are provided proactively to Airport management and staff and other City departments; and performing other duties as assigned.
Note
The normal annual salary range is $114,582 - $146,224. Appointment above the maximum of the normal range $114,582 - $146,224 may be considered based on documented and substantiated recruitment and retention issues or exceptional skills. A special approval process is necessary for appointment above the normal salary range. Minimum Qualifications
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems;
AND
• Ten (10) years of verifiable professional senior level project management experience. This experience must include enterprise applications with related web application development and Oracle database environments.
Substitution
Possession of a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university may substitute for up to two (2) years of the senior level project management experience.substitute for up to two (2) years of xxxxx

3Verificatio
nVerification of qualifying education and experience will be required prior to appointment.
