Senior Accountant
Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in industrial machinery, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to work closely with the Controller, providing financial support and ensuring accuracy in reporting. The Senior Accountant will be instrumental in the company's month-end close process, financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
• Execute and oversee the month-end close process
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Assist with corporate accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Support the transition to Epicor ERP (experience with Epicor is a plus but not required)
• Work closely with the Controller to alleviate workload and support strategic financial initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency
Senior Accountant Requirements:
• CPA certification required!
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and corporate accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
