Nextaff is conducting a search for a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy skills . Our client is an innovative functional family medicine practice, located in Sarasota, that is technology-driven and growing! This is an opportunity for a Medical Assistant to be able to spend quality time with patients (10-15 patients per day) in a holistic and integrative setting, while maintaining work-life balance with a Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM schedule (no nights or weekends!). You will be supporting the providers' functional/integrative treatments, performing phlebotomy, administering injections/IV access, checking patients in/out, triaging, scheduling and maintaining exam rooms, etc. In other words, you will be making sure the trains run on time!. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position that is immediately available!

What We Need From You:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with certification preferred
• Experience in functional/integrative medicine strongly preferred!
• Phlebotomy, IV access experience
• EMR experience and strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Highly collaborative and adaptable with strong communication skills
• Background check required
