Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer located in Sarasota, FL. The Engineer will be responsible for performing structural design, conducting site inspections, managing restoration projects, and providing waterproofing consultation. Daily tasks will include collaboration with architects, homeowners, and other clients to develop and implement engineering solutions. The Engineer will also be involved in project management and failure investigation, ensuring that all projects meet stability and durability standards.
Qualifications
• Structural engineering and design skills
• Experience in restoration consulting and site inspection
• Project management and failure investigation skills
• Consulting experience in waterproofing solutions
• Proficiency with construction materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently on-site in Sarasota, FL
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Experience with relevant software tools and applications
