Admissions Counselor
Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private, liberal arts college with a long-standing reputation for quality and academic excellence, is seeking a full-time Admissions Counselor to join our community and represent the College to prospective students.
Major Responsibilities
• Implement a comprehensive marketing and recruitment program.
• Travel to and recruit students from a specific region through school visits, college fairs, personalized communications, etc.
• Provide information about Kentucky Wesleyan to potential students and their families.
• Actively participate in Admissions events. A few of these will be held in the evening and/or on the weekend.
• Develop and maintain working relationships within the assigned recruiting area.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Enthusiasm for and ability to do significant travel in the fall. May include multiple overnight trips. Due to travel, lifting objects of 20 to 30 pounds may be required (e.g., personal luggage, materials and supplies).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to be focused and organized in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of positive energy.
• Strong computer skills, such as MS Office and social media.
• Valid driver's license.

This position is a nonexempt position paid on an hourly basis.
