Maintenance Supervisor (AUTOMATION)

Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment by planning, scheduling, and supervising repairs, while maintaining safety standards and implementing preventive maintenance procedures; key duties include training staff, inspecting facilities, developing maintenance schedules, managing inventory, and responding to maintenance requests.
5 Years Minimum Experience required as maintenance Supervisor or equivalent a must! Must have own tools, strong technology skills, strong office skills, self-motivated, organization skills, great communication skills, relationship building skills, team building skills, and works well under pressure in all situations.
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 20% OF THE TIME
• Train, and supervise maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
• Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with internal staff or external contractors.
• Manage maintenance supplies and spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Monitor maintenance costs and work within budget constraints
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Track maintenance activities, generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance status.
• Possess a strong understanding of various maintenance systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
Will Be Responsible For The Following
• Point of contact for customers
• Performing and completing PMs & repairs.
• Facilitate work/Repair request.
• Perform daily walkthrough inspections of facility & Equipment.
• Provide shift coverage.
• Willing to be On Call
• Communicate PTO coverage plans with direct supervisor & or customers.
• Coordinate and drive warranty requests
• Facilitate outside vendor work (PO process and billing)
• Facilitate all outside of scope work.
• Parts Ordering and Inventory Management (5S Inventory Skills)
• Fill out and complete daily work orders.
• Attend and complete Monthly safety training requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Including research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
• Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
• Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
• Inspecting Equipment - Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
• Communications - Provide information to supervisor and co-workers by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
• Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
• Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
• Safety
• All work must be completed in a safe manner.
• Safety requirements by customer and Concentric must be adhered to.
• Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety.
• Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.
• Timely Completion of Safety training modules.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements
• Technical training certificate, vocational school training, associates degree in field specifics
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as maintenance supervisor or equivalent job role.
• Must have strong PLC trouble shooting experience. SLC 500 or Studio 5000 preferred
• Strong Electrical troubleshooting skills, 480v,240v,24v, 48v.
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic prints.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Strong Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Basic handyman skills.
• Must understand how to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical components involving wiring diagrams and schematics, general abilities in laptop software to identify issues with automation equipment going offline.
• Manufacturer Training available on specific equipment for technician hired. Looking for someone with a strong skillset who is willing to learn, self-motivated, goal oriented, punctual, and professional, strong communication skills, solution-based mindset who is looking to grow.
• Specialty tools will be provided but must have own hand tools and willing to purchase what is needed to be successful in the role.
