JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry. This role requires hands-on management of warehouse staff, enforcement of safety protocols, and implementation of best practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
• Monitor inventory levels through regular physical counts and ensure accuracy in warehouse management systems.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
• Supervise warehouse employees, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify operational issues, troubleshoot challenges, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehousing, shipping, and material handling.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
• Work closely with suppliers, transportation partners, and internal teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
• Uphold security protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and inventory.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or coursework in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse leadership role , preferably within a food manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Familiarity with industry best practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
