Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Server position is responsible for greeting and serving members and guests in assigned food & beverage venues, ensuring a quality member experience with the highest level of member and guest satisfaction.
Duties
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
Trust and Teamwork
• Demonstrate reliability by consistently reporting to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to efficiently complete assigned setup and breakdown side work.
• Attend pre-shift line-up to receive and share daily information, fostering a culture of teamwork and unity.
• Provide immediate attention to members and guests upon seating, building trust though attentive and personalized service.
• Assist children in seating, ensuring every member of our community feels welcomed and valued.
Innovation
• Showcase creativity and innovation in addressing member inquiries, distributing appropriate menus, and delivering food and alcohol knowledge.
• Offer suggestions and recommendations in a friendly and courteous manner, enriching the dining experience through innovative ideas.
• Assemble food and beverages on trays with creative flair, utilizing appropriate instruments, garnishes, and dressings.
Effective Communication
• Ensure accurate billing by inputting correct member names and numbers, exemplifying the importance of effective communication.
• Communicate promptly with management regarding any issues with food or service, fostering transparency and proactive problem-solving.
• Present the bill with clear communication, offering a fond farewell and accurately inputting any promotions or comps.
Balance And Appreciation
• Prioritize member and guest satisfaction by checking back to ensure their needs are met, demonstrating a balance between efficiency and attentive service.
• Remove soiled dishes and glassware while replacing silverware as necessary, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment that reflects appreciation for our members and guests.
• Present coffee, cordial, and dessert offerings with a touch of elegance and appreciation for the dining experience.
Education And/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 1 year or experience in fine dining food and beverage service
• Private club experience a plus

• Follows all food and beverage health safety guidelines and alcohol service protocols
• Ability to become ServSafe certified
Physical Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age of older
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Must be able to move about the dining room to service guests
• Continuous repetitive motions
• Requires carrying of trays at shoulder level weighing up to 25 lbs
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50lbs
• Occasional pushing and pulling of items up to 50lbs
