Registered Dental Hygienist - SPA Venice
We are seeking a part time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental periodontal team working one day per week. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of periodontal disease and maintenance, detail oriented hygienist who has excellent communication skills and is passionate about patient care. Responsibilities
• Patient screening procedures such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and experience taking blood pressure and pulse count.
• Taking digital x-rays.
• Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth.
• Patient instruction on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
• Charting in Dentrix.
Requirements
• Florida dental hygiene license/active status.
• CPR/AED certification, current.
