Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (Basic, Advanced, or Paramedic) to join our team!
Description:
• Shifts Monday-Saturday
• 4:30a-4:30p
• 8:30a-8:30p
• 9a-9p
• Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Events available
• PTO- 5 personal days (after 90) and 10 personal days (after 1 year)
• Free CEUs for employees
• Free AHA BLS / ACLS
Starting Pay:
• EMT: $16-$18
• AEMT: $18-$21
• Paramedic: $22-$26
Responsibilities:
• Transport injured or sick individuals to medical facilities
• Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
• Administer prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency, or in specially equipped vehicle
• Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher
• Communicate with medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities
Qualifications:
• Holds a Georgia EMS Certification (EMT, AEMT, Paramedic)
• Holds an American Heart Association BLS Providers certification
• Holds an American Heart Association ACLS certification (Paramedics only)
• Knowledge of first and and CPR procedures
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
