We are seeking a talented and motivated Site Reliability Developer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will work at the intersection of development and operations to design, build, and maintain infrastructure that supports our Cross Domain Service (CDS). You will help troubleshoot complex issues, automate repetitive tasks, and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability. U.S. Citizenship and possess and maintain TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities: Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and automation to improve the efficiency and reliability of our systems. Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement fixes proactively to prevent incidents. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate new features, updates, and infrastructure improvements. Support the unique requirements and challenges of a Cross Domain Service, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to iterative development and team alignment. Write and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and solutions. Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule, ensuring high availability of critical services. Continuously evaluate and improve system monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including troubleshooting and system administration. Experience in scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar languages). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Exposure to Agile methodologies and ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges with confidence. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly. MUST POSSESS U.S. Citizenship and possess and maintain TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance Preferred: Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Basic networking knowledge, including protocols and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions and their operational requirements.
