Description New College of Florida invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in Computer Science (areas of interest include but are not limited to operating systems, distributed systems, mobile computing, computer networks, embedded systems, and software engineering. We are particularly interested in candidates working on the intersection of computer systems and other areas such as artificial intelligence, data management, and cybersecurity). Examples of Duties The position will start in August 2025, and the successful candidate is expected to be able to contribute to course offerings that range from introductory to advanced. In addition to two courses per semester, the candidate will teach students in small group situations and include supervising undergraduate research and honors theses and sponsoring student-centered tutorials. Undergraduate research has a central role in the curriculum, and a senior thesis is required of all students.
