Despite our firm’s substantial size, we have structured our company in such a way that no client ever gets lost in the shuffle. Our teams work on a wide array of projects that range from small interior renovations to towering buildings and massive developments. JOB DESCRIPTION: The analyst’s role is to guide project sponsors & clients to optimize the return on their investments by collaboratively managing capital planning and project executions as a single continuous process. During the internship period, the data analyst intern will be learning the role and assisting the analyst team in their day-to-day responsibilities. Specifically, identifying the right technology and creating process workflows, tools and templates that go to work for the project team to analyze, validate and control the business needs of multiple stakeholders. This is a proactive role for “self-starting” individuals to leverage construction and project data to maximize value, minimize cost and optimize performance. This role will include and address complex and challenging issues. This role will primarily take part in parallel with project start up and focus on backbone data infrastructure to support the project sponsors vision and plan. Responsibilities: Gain an understanding of data architecture and continuity throughout all phases of the development and construction lifecycle. Support the development of customizable workflows and project data strategies that maximize productivity and turn construction data into profitable actions. Analyze project performance against initial plan and deliver actionable insights to project stakeholders. Develop the ability to communicate the project story effectively to our clients (internally and externally). Assist the team to transform the data into usable visual tools for the team to consume, review and make applicable business decisions. Assist the team to review, validate and verify feasibility of use cases based on project needs aligned with internal rules, regulations, existing systems, and security protocol. Familiarity and/or interest in Power BI, Alteryx, or any other low-code/no-code software. Data Literacy skills and competencies: Data collection Data evaluation Data management Conceptual framework Data Application Familiarity and/or interest with common programming languages Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365. Required Experience Actively pursuing or obtained bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business/Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (other relevant major’s or minor’s may be considered) Salary Range $14.42 - $20.19
