Summer Academy at UGA is a series of STEM and Arts summer camp programs hosted by the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education. Summer Academy at UGA seeks a registered nurse to facilitate medication check-in for six weeks of residential summer camp. The Summer Academy Nurse will work up to 2 hours remotely each week of camp. Remote work will consist of checking a roster of reported medications and medical conditions for residential campers. The Summer Academy Nurse will additionally work approximately two hours per week in person for residential camper check-in. In person work will consist of checking in camper medications, confirming medications are labeled appropriately, and providing a brief report to camp directors regarding camper medication administration and any pertinent medical conditions. In person hours are 3:45 PM to approximately 5:45 PM on Sundays. Remote work must be completed between Wednesday and Saturday prior to Sunday check-in but may be done at the Summer Academy Nurse’s convenience. To be considered, applicants must be available for all camp dates (listed below). Pay $35 per hour Minimum Qualifications Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with valid licensure for the state of Georgia.
