Job Summary Supports the organization in the best use of various types of software programs to efficiently and effectively fulfill business objectives. # Job Responsibilities Assists in the design, delivery, and improvement of vendor delivered and internally developed software applications and associated deployment, operation, and training programs. Researches and analyzes data access, data use, and end user workflows that support business functions and process improvement knowledge. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Converts user requirements and needs into detailed application specifications documentation, defines and creates document flows and program decision points, and creates and maintains the knowledge database. Analyzes and interprets normal and abnormal software behavior, and troubleshoots unexpected results (interface, data integrity, set up, etc.), which leads to resolving, documenting, and negating the recurrence of applications issues and failures. Contributes to the development and execution of applications testing, including test scripts, documentation of results, integration testing, and participates in long-term strategic applications planning. Provides on site and/or telephone support in accordance with organizational needs in a periodic, rotating 24x7 on-call schedule. Qualifications Bachelor#s degree or higher in business related field required upon hire A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
