Kitchen Technician
Position Summary: The Kitchen Technician is responsible for ensuring that the hotel kitchen equipment is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and team members.

Essential functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Perform general maintenance on all equipment (i.e. boilers, chillers, HVAC – Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, electrical, etc.).
• Take required readings on equipment.
• Replace and repair pumps.
• Perform plumbing repairs (i.e. clogged drains, pipe, change washers, change handles, drain fittings, etc.).
• Trace and repair all types of water lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records.
• Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Greet all guests encountered on the hotel property. Follow proper procedures for entry into guest rooms.
• Perform all duties required as a Fire Alarm Response Team member.
• In depth knowledge of all kitchen equipment maintenance. Diagnostic knowledge and ability to make the necessary repairs and or services.
• Must be able to work with “Hot” and “Cold” equipment.
