Position Description
As the Associate Manager of Data Analytics, you will be at the forefront of tackling complex market research projects for our clients. This is a fully remote position. You will collaborate closely with clients, analysts, and other advanced analytics experts to develop innovative solutions and drive actionable insights. Reporting to the Senior Director and Team Leader of Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in deploying cutting-edge analytical methods in quantitative market research. Additionally, this role will have the potential of overseeing the management and development of a team, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and team members are supported in their professional growth.
Responsibilities
· Ability to lead and manage a team of analysts and statisticians to ensure project success and professional development.
· Consult with customers or internal team members by recommending statistical designs and methods most appropriate for pertinent research problems.
· Conduct advanced statistical and econometric analyses to derive conclusions from studies.
· Interpret analytical results and draw conclusions about findings.
· Contribute strategic thinking, unique insights, and analytical support for custom client studies.
· Identify new opportunities for value-added analytics.
· Develop analytical and statistical methods, best practices, and systemic processes that enable standardization and automation.
· Keep abreast of the most recent analytical, statistical, and data science innovations and trends.
· Represent and champion iMR at industry analytics and related conferences and high-level meetings with clients and partners.
· Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
· Mentor and train team members to enhance their analytical skills and career development.
· Facilitate regular team meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and share insights.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to align team objectives with organizational goals.
Requirements
· M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Psychometrics, or another quantitative analysis field.
· At least three years of relevant experience.
· Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
· Technical knowledge/skills include discrete choice modeling, latent class segmentation analysis, advanced experiment design, multivariate analysis, regression analysis, forecasting, sampling, big data analysis, and pattern recognition.
· Practical market research client-related consulting experience with applied knowledge of advanced statistical and analytical techniques.
· Advanced expertise in programming language or statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, Latent Gold, etc.
· Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences in general.
· An excellent academic record.
