ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECH Night Shift
Description
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform installations and repairs accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support process improvements and ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment inventories.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical and instrumentation systems and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
• Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work.

Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Proven experience as an E&I Technician or in a similar role in an industrial setting.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Proficient in the use of testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and calibrators.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) automation systems integration, and HMI’s.
• Competent in 120/220/480V wiring for in installations and troubleshooting systems and circuits
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in electrical/instrumentation technology required.
Typical Physical and Mental Demands/Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing facility and occasionally seated in an office. May involve working under deadlines. The position involves full shifts in an environment with extreme temperatures exceeding 100°F during summer months.

Must work a 12 ¼ hour shift 7 out of every 14 days
(Week 1: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat, Week 2: Sun/Wed/Thur)
The availability of overtime on your days off on an as-needed basis.
